Club Welfare Officers
My name is Joanne Hennessey. I have been involved within Recoil Trampoline Club since 1997. Initially my involvement was as a competitor and then I progressed on to complete course in coaching and judging.
I have recently been appointed as one of the clubs Welfare Officers. Within this role we will be assisting with ensuring implementation of child protection, anti-bullying and code of conduct policies are undertaken.
I will be the first point of contact within the club for parents/carers, children, volunteers and coaches if there is a concern regarding a child's welfare, coaching practices and issues of bullying within the club. All information shared with me will be dealt with in the strictest of confidence with the appropriate people or agencies being informed as necessary. For example British Gymnastics or Social Services.
