Recoil was founded in 1998, by Janet Hay, Bev Lee and Tricia Johnston who have over 70 years combined experience in trampolining, both as competitors and coaches. They are all qualified to British Gymnastics Senior Club Coach level and are also Senior Double Mini Coaches. The clubs coaching team is further made up of 5 Special Needs coaches,6 coaches, 6 club coaches and many judges. 

Coaching is offered to all who wish to enjoy the sport trampolining from the mini jumpers (age 2 1/2 - 51/2 years) through to Junior Jumpers (6 year-17 years) and senior jumpers (18 years plus). We welcome trampolinists of any ability from beginner to the advanced performer and we also have dedicated sessions for adults and children with special needs. 

Recoil is a competitive club, giving our members the opportunity to enter local, regional and national competition. All our members are invited to compete in our own annual club competition and a friendly competition which we host at the Brentwood Centre. Annual Membership is currently £12 for Pre-School (U5 in the coming year), £25 non-competitive and £30 for competitive members. This includes membership of British Gymnastics and the Eastern Counties Amateur Gymnastics Association.

We have a News Page on this site, which keeps members and visitors fully informed about the various club events and news etc. We also have our own club leotards, T-shirts and polo shirts for sale, which can be worn at training sessions.
